These great road bike challenges are especially designed for the real cyclist, who likes a challenge and likes to make his kilometres and climb a few challenging mountains, cycle, but as well wants the pleasure of cycling through amazing landscapes, in a nice climate and with a good hotel and good food at night.
According to the type of tour and the area, on some tours the focus is more on the real biking, on others on the cultural aspects of the area. On all our small group tours you’ll have the assistance of a professional multi-lingual tour leader and of course vehicle support during the cycling day.

A Genius Loci cycling tour takes you along carefully selected routes through an area, making sure that you see the best of this area, avoiding the busier roads and with the optimal mix between cycling & sightseeing.
Our tours are the right balance between continuous routes and centre-based tours. Usually you change hotel about every 2/3 days on our tours. This avoids you to have to change hotel every day, while on the other hand you can follow a continuous route through the area, without having to do the same road several times.
When you join a Genius Loci tour, you travel with fellow travellers from around the globe, Europeans, Australians, New Zealanders, Americans, Canadians, and others. People with different origins, but with a common interest in travel, culture & nature, history and gastronomy. Our groups ensure you to have a good time with other travellers from around the globe, sharing and exchanging ideas and interests and creating new friendships. Our local tour leaders make sure you’ll see and get the best of the country!
Genius Loci Travel has always strived to stay away from mass tourism. Our groups are therefore never larger than 15 people, small enough to avoid making a negative impact on the places you go, and small enough to travel to special places and immerse yourself in the real country, without having to follow an umbrella…
